NOT WHAT I EXPECTED | AVAILABLE NOW
If you clicked on the tab that says “for survivors,” you may have peeked over your shoulder beforehand to see if anyone was looking. Sadly, that’s really common. And I get that. As survivors, we’ve often been called the loneliest people in the world, condemned to a life in the shadows. Maybe you’ve almost become accustomed to it.
But here’s the thing: I no longer live in the shadows. I can live proudly and loudly as a survivor because of the bravery of those who came before me. And I swore to myself that one day I would pay it forward and try to make that same life possible for those still in the shadows.
So let it all out. Whatever’s on your mind about a survivor’s journey, the justice system, navigating a religious community, or anything else—I want to help.
